| Robin Averill The Ottawa Valley's Irish Tenor! Robin Averill's musical repertoire is all about variety - from old to new. He sings ballads, pop, rock 'n roll, country, swing,and of course, Irish music. On Saint Patrick's Day for the past dozen year's or so, Robin has appeared live on CFRA with host Lowell Green, to take requests from listeners. With the help of Joe Turner on guitar, Robin sings everyone's Irish favourites. Robin is a talented entertainer whose showmanship and stage presence have garnered him fans throughout the Ottawa Valley. His fine Irish tenor vocals and his natural ability to interact with his audience, make for an unforgettable performance! Robin recently released his newest 14-song CD called The Green Green Valley...the title track which was written by Robin about the Ottawa Valley. The CD also includes The Rideau Canal Song...both of these tracks pay homage to the Irish immigrants who settled the Ottawa Valley and built the Rideau Canal. |
